Franklin – Withie Bristow Billups, 82, widow of Thornton Lee Billups, passed away December 20, 2017 in the East Pavilion. Mrs. Billups, a native of Southampton County, was a daughter of the late Willie and Grace Barrett Bristow and was predeceased by two brothers, Donald and Emerson Bristow.

She was a member of Black Creek Baptist Church.

Left to cherish her memory are two sons, Daryl W. Billups (Kim) of Franklin and Douglas L. Billups (Leisa) of Zuni, four grandchildren, Tyler, Cody, Samantha and Jenna Billups, one devoted sister Delores B. Parker (Earl) of Sedley.

A funeral will be held at 2 PM Friday December 22, 2017 in Wright Funeral Home, Franklin. The burial will follow at Black Creek Baptist Church Cemetery. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service at the funeral home and suggests that memorial donations be made to Black Creek Baptist Church Youth Group, 34163 Vicksville Rd., Franklin, VA 23851. www.wrightfuneralhome.org
