Franklin – Wilton Reid Woods, 56, passed away in his home city of San Francisco on January 4, 2022.  Born in Franklin, he was the son of the late William S. D. "Chip" Woods, Jr. and Lisbeth Marie "Liz" Woods.

Wilton was a graduate of Syracuse University.  He took great delight in art and nature.  He was an avid and extremely talented photographer.  His family now relishes the thought of him now in a very peaceful and happy place.

Left to cherish his memory are his sister, Marbara Woods Morris (Terry) of Suffolk,VA and his brother, W. S. Derrick Woods III (Nancy) of Mount Pleasant, SC.

A brief graveside service will be held at Poplar Spring Cemetery on March 19, 2022 at 1:00 pm.  In lieu of flowers, please donate to your favorite charity.
