Boykins – Wilmer Monicure Lee, 89, widower of Irene Smith Lee, died December 6, 2008. He was a life long resident of Boykins, a son of the late Frank Norman and Lizzie Griffin Lee. Mr. Lee was a US Army Veteran of WWII, a retired farmer, and was a member of Boykins Baptist Church.
Left to cherish his memory is his son, Norman Lee and wife, Shirley; two granddaughters, Robin Pinner and husband, Jimmy, and Jennifer Pinner; three great-grandchildren, Chelsea, Patrick, and Wyatt Pinner, all of Boykins; and a special nephew, Joe Mizelle and wife, Irene of Richmond. He was predeased by two brothers, Linwood and Archie Lee.
The funeral will be held at 2pm Tuesday at Boykins Baptist Church, with the Rev. Raymond Bunn officiating. Interment will follow in Beechwood Cemetery. The family will receive friends at Wright Funeral Home in Boykins, Monday from 7:00 to 8:30pm.
