Capron – Willie Thomas "W.T." Bryant, 84, passed away February 6, 2016. Born in Southampton County, he was a son of the late Felix and Rosa Hill Bryant and was a lifelong farmer. W.T. was a veteran of the U.S. Army and a member of Newsoms Baptist Church.

Left to cherish his memory is his wife, Mary Elizabeth Vick Bryant; his daughter, LouAnne B. Hopkins of Franklin; his granddaughter, Rachael V. Hopkins and a sister, Ann B. Jordan. W.T. was predeceased by his siblings, Inez Worrell, Hazel Jenkins, George Bryant, Harry Bryant, Steven Bryant and Maude Bryant , his son-in-law, Bill Hopkins, a special friend, Jodie Bynum and two special caregivers, Roxanna Walton and Dorothy Branch.

The funeral will be conducted at 1:30 PM Sunday, February 14, 2016 at Wright Funeral Home, Franklin with the Rev. Armand Jalbert and Rev. Kenneth Williams officiating. Burial with Military Honors will follow at Beechwood Cemetery, Boykins. The family will receive friends at the funeral home Saturday from 6 to 7:30 PM and suggests memorial donations be made to Southampton Academy or a favorite charity. www.wrightfuneralhome.org
