Boykins – William C. "Billy Buck" Taylor, Jr., 54, passed away peacefully in his sleep September 12, 2017 at his home. Billy Buck was a native of Southampton County and was the son of the late William C. Taylor, Sr. and Cathryn Lamb Taylor and was also predeceased by a sister Mary Dungee.

Billy Buck was a farmer for Francis and Francis Farms, a member of Hebron Baptist Church and The Little Texas Hunt Club.

Left to cherish his memory is his sister Teresa Powell of Boykins, his brother Burt Taylor (Karen) of Midlothian, nieces and nephews, Chris Powell (Penny), Kathryn Powell, Kimberly P. Vick (Wesley) and Paul Dungee and several great nieces and nephews.

A graveside service will be held at 11AM Saturday September 16, 2017 at Capron Cemetery with the Rev. James H. Hyatt, Jr. officiating. The family will receive friends Friday from 6 to 8PM at Wright Funeral Home, 32247 South Main St. Boykins, VA and suggests that in lieu of flowers memorial donations be made to the Drewryville Fire Department, P.O.
