Windsor – William Jasper "Jay" Stephenson, 81, passed away April 18, 2022 in Sentara Obici Hospital. He was a son of the late John Sidney Stephenson and Mary Carr Stephenson; he was predeceased by a brother, John Stephenson and a sister, Evelyn Stephenson Darden. He was retired from Sentara Obici Hospital after 30 years of service and was a member of Western Branch Baptist Church.

Left to cherish his memory is a brother Lawrence M. Stephenson (Betty Jean), and a host of nieces and nephews, and a special great great niece Olivia Griffin, and a special great great nephew Ryan O'Neal.

A Funeral Service will be held at 2 PM Friday, April 22, 2022, at Western Branch Baptist Church with Reverend James H. Hyatt, Jr., officiating. The Family will receive friends one hour prior in the church. The burial will follow in the church cemetery. Memorial donations may be made to Western Branch Baptist Church, 6952 Old Myrtle Road, Suffolk, VA 23434.
