Dr. William Rohimbox Morrison, Jr., 91, passed away March 9, 2014 at Southampton Memorial Hospital. Dr. Morrison, a retired internal medicine physician, was born in Columbus, OH and was a former resident of Brooklyn, NY. He was a graduate of Ohio State University and was of the Protestant faith. He was predeceased by his parents William R. and Edith Marie Morrison.
Left to cherish his memory is his wife, Betty Poe Morrison; three sons, Dr. William R. Morrison, IV, of Franklin, Hashim O. Morrison of Long Island, NY and Dr. Norris D. Morrison of Brooklyn, NY and other extended family.
The funeral will be conducted at 11:00 AM Thursday, March 13, 2014 at Wright Funeral Home, Franklin with the Rev. James H. Hyatt, Jr. officiating. Burial will follow at Southview Cemetery. A visitation will be at the funeral home from 6 to 8 PM Wednesday. www.wrightfuneralhome.org
