Carrsville – William Henry Duck, 80, passed away on October 5, 2022 in Bon Secours Maryview Medical Center.   Born in Isle of Wight County, he was a son of the late John Henry Duck and Helen Catherine Lowe Duck.  He was also predeceased by a brother-in-law, Len R. Benson, Jr., and a nephew, Michael Wayne Benson, Sr.

William was a retired farmer and a life-long "Hokie", a lifetime Conservative, and loved his animals.

William is survived by his sister, Diane Duck Benson, a nephew, Randy Benson and his wife Laura, other family members, and his many loyal friends.

A Funeral Service will be held at 11AM Monday, October 10, 2022 in Wright Funeral Home with Rev. Don Rosie officiating.  Burial will follow in Mount Carmel Christian Church Cemetery.  The family will receive friends from 6 to 8PM on Sunday in the funeral home and suggests that memorial donations be made to Mount Carmel Christian Church Cemetery Fund, c/o Pam Vaughan, 27836 Walters Hwy., Walters, VA 23115 or any local pet shelter.
