Franklin- Wayne Nathan Coburn, 54, passed away Saturday, November 8, 2014 at Sentara Norfolk General Hospital. Wayne was a native of Franklin and a graduate of Windsor High School, Paul D. Camp Community College and the Newport News Apprentice School. He was a supervisor with M.L. Coburn and Company.

He was predeceased by his father Leroy Bynum Coburn and leaves to cherish his memory, his mother, Mary Denson Coburn, his wife, Susan Rice Coburn, two daughters, Megan Coburn and Desty Heikens, one sister, Kim Coburn Davis (Mac), one brother, Michael L. Coburn (Shirley), one niece, Tracey Edwards, three nephews, Danny Sumpter(Stephanie), Billy Davis, Michael Coburn, II, and two great nephews, Ethan and Nick Sumpter.

A graveside funeral will be held at 11 AM Wednesday, November 12, 2014 at Southampton Memorial Park with the Rev. James Ashby officiating. The family will receive friends at Wright Funeral Home, Tuesday from 6 to 7:30 PM.
