Franklin- Wanda Gay Darden, 66, wife of W.L. Darden Jr., passed away October 9, 2011. Mrs. Darden was a daughter of the late Boots and Girlyn Felton, and was also predeceased by a sister, Michelle Biggs, and a brother, Kenneth Bright.
Mrs. Darden was retired office manager for Lucas Underground Cable Service.
Surviving besides her husband is two daughters, Dawn Burr, and Dee-Dee Nislein, one son, Danny Nislein (Shelley), five grand-children, Chad, Craig, Marlene, Brandon, and Matthew, and one great grand-child, Morgan.
