Carrsville – Walter Bradley "Walt" Nickerson, 76, passed away April 30, 2023 in Southampton Memorial Hospital. Born in New London, CT, he was the son of the late Walter Seldon Nickerson, Jr. and Shirley Eleanor Nelson Nickerson.

Walt was a US Marine serving in Vietnam and a retired police officer for the City of Norfolk. He was a member of the Holland VFW.

Left to cherish his memory is his son, Walter S. "Chip" Nickerson, III; a sister, Barbara; a brother, Robert; and his close friends, Stacy Strohmeier and Elijah Bolton, Greg and Tracy Rice, and Joel and Unha Bradshaw.

A Celebration of Life Service with Military honors will be held 10AM Friday, May 19, 2023 in Albert G. Horton Jr. Memorial Veterans Cemetery in Suffolk.
