Walter Frank Daughtrey, III, 57, passed away June 13, 2017 at Henrico Doctors Hospital. Frank was born in Franklin, VA reared in Courtland and was a graduate of Christchurch School and Elon University. He was the son of the late Dr. W. Frank Daughtrey, Jr and Virginia Brooks Manry Daughtrey. Frank was brought up in the Courtland United Methodist Church. Frank loved to fish and hunt. Above all, he loved and adored his children, to whom he was extremely devoted and proud. Frank lived life to the fullest and will always be remembered for his infectious laugh.

Left to cherish his memory is one daughter, Brooks Summers Daughtrey, one son Walter Frank Daughtrey, IV, a stepson Phillip A. Rice, one sister Patricia D. Storey, nephews, John A. Storey, Scott J. Storey, Stephen K. Storey, a niece Ginny S. Graef and cousins.

A graveside funeral will be held at 11AM Monday June 19, 2017at the Manry Family Cemetery at 22301 Linden St. Courtland, VA with the Rev. David Henson officiating. In lieu of flowers memorial donations may be made in Frank's memory to the James River Association, 4833 Old Main St., Richmond, VA 24231.
