Suffolk – Vladimir Marinov Dimitrov, 78, passed away April 13, 2021 in Bon Secours Maryview Medical Center.  Born in Bulgaria, he was the son of the late Marin Dimitrov and Tona Saraivanova Dimitrova.  He was also predeceased by a brother, Dimitar Dimitrov.

Vladimir served in the Bulgarian Army and was a government chauffeur.

Left to cherish his memory is his wife, Violeta Yosifova Petkova; a daughter, Mariyanka Koleva and her husband, Nikolay; a son, Yosif Marinov and his wife, Mariyna; three grandchildren, Veronika Koleva (John Georgiev), Kaloyan Kolev (Martina), and Vladimir Marinov; and two great grandchildren, Maximus Georgiev and Izabella Koleva.

A Graveside Service will be held at 2PM Friday, April 16, 2021 in Tucker Swamp Baptist Church Cemetery with Rev. Curtis Faison officiating.
