Suffolk – Margaret Virginia Joyner West, 82, widow of Littleton Judson "Junior" West, Jr., passed away June 3, 2020 in her home with family by her side.  Born in Suffolk and reared in Ivor, she was the daughter of the late Noah Thomas Joyner and Margaret Atkins Joyner.   Virginia was also predeceased by a grandson, Christopher Michael West.

Virginia was a graduate of Ivor High School and a school bus driver for Suffolk Public Schools for 15 years.  She was a member of Holland Baptist Church and a member of the WMU, Ladies Red Hat Society, Holland Baptist Grand Age Club and Holland Baptist Dorcas Sunday School Class.  Virginia was a devoted wife and mother.

Left to cherish her memory is three sons, Judson Thomas West (Karla), Michael Lynn West (Julie), and David Sidney West (Ruth); six grandchildren Rachel West, Ryan West (Erica), Jason West (Kristin), Noah West (fiancée Nataly), Jordan West (Friend Brett), and Mackenzie West (friend Kevin); and four great grandchildren, Riley West, Ellie West and twins Ryan and Thomas West.

A Funeral Service will be held at 2PM Friday, June 5, 2020 in Holland Baptist Church with Rev. Matthew Johnson officiating.  Burial will follow in Holland Cemetery.  Viewing will be Thursday from 9AM to 5PM in Wright Funeral Home, Franklin, where the family will receive friends from 3 to 5PM.  The family suggests that memorial donations be made to Holland Baptist Church WMU, P.
