Franklin – Virginia Drewry Lyon, 94, passed away April 19, 2015 at Riverside Regional Medical Center. A native of Southampton County, she was a daughter of the late William Henry and Lutie Branch Drewry and was a member of the World Outreach Worship Center in Newport News. Mrs. Lyon was predeceased by a sister, Elizabeth Butterworth and six brothers, William, West, Augustus, Forrest, Richard and Wayne Drewry.

Left to cherish her memory are her daughter, Gail L. Goodwin of Albuquerque, NM; her son, Bill Lyon of Chicago, IL; her sister, Jean D. Rawls of Franklin and numerous nieces, nephews and extended family.

There will be a graveside service at Poplar Spring Cemetery, Franklin at a later date.
