Franklin – Virginia Lee Wilson Castillo, 82, formerly of Virginia Beach, died September 1, 2007. She was born in Polk County, NC, a daughter of the late Clyde and Maude Lynch Wilson. Mrs. Castillo was predeceased by her husband, James Castillo; her son, James Edward Castillo; four sisters; and one brother. She was a Real Estate Broker for 45 years and a member of Fox Hall Baptist Church.
Left to cherish her memory is her daughter, Linda C. Smith and husband, Ray, of Franklin; three grandsons, Donald Ray Smith of Virginia Beach, Michael Lee Smith and wife, Teresa, of Franklin, Robert Christopher Smith and wife, Rachel, of Suffolk; and four great-grandchildren, Katlyn, Megan, Justin and Carlee Smith.
A funeral service will be conducted at 11 am Wednesday at Hollomon-Brown Bayside Chapel, Virginia Beach, with the Rev. Thomas Speight officiating. Burial will follow in Woodlawn Memorial Gardens. The family will receive friends from 6 to 8 pm Tuesday at the funeral home and suggest memorials be made to East Pavilion Activities fund, 100 Fairview Drive, Franklin, Va. 23851.
