Carrsville – Vernon Keith Johnson, 77, died May 2, 2009 at Sentara Obici Hospital. He was a lifelong resident of Isle of Wight County and was a retired insurance agent for Home Beneficial Life Insurance Company. Keith was a U. S. Army veteran and a member of Holland Baptist Church.
Survivors include his wife, Pauline W. Johnson; and three sisters, Nannie Mae Harrell, Dorothy Boykins, and Oneil Gallup.
A graveside service will be conducted at 2 pm Tuesday at Colosse Cemetery with the Rev. Robert Bunn officiating. Wright Funeral Home is assisting the family. www.wrightfuneralhome.org
