Courtland-Vanessa Bernadette Blick, 53 passed away August 8, 2012. Born June 20, 1959 in Petersburg, VA., She was the daughter of the late Albert C. Blick and Hazel Pinter Blick who resides in Courtland. She was a member of St. Jude's Catholic Church and was retired as an Administrative Assistant with the Garland Gray Forestry Center. Besides her mother, she is survived by one brother, Vance Blick, of Courtland and her longtime companion, Thurman Roberts, of Capron. A memorial service will be held Saturday, August 11, 2012 at 2 PM at Wright Funeral Home, Franklin with the Fr. Charles Sagilo officiating. The family will receive friends at the funeral home following the service and suggest that, in lieu of flowers, memorial donations be made to the American Cancer Society or the Muscular Dystrophy Association.
