Carrsville -Phillip Trent Mayville, 27, departed this life too soon on July 17, 2016. He was preceded in death by his maternal grandfather, Donald Bowden.

Left to cherish his memory are his mother, Kathy Bowden Mayville; his father, Robert Mayville; his maternal grandmother, Margaret "Kakie" Bowden; his sister, Kasey Taylor and brother-in-law and friend, Shane Taylor, and their children, Aria, Gabriel and Landon Taylor; his uncle, Phillip Bowden, and aunt, Julie Bowden, and their son, Lee Bowden; his best friend, Jeremy Leland, and a multitude of beloved cousins.

Trent was an experienced journeyman lineman and a hard worker all of his life. He took pride in his work and enjoyed what he did. His laugh and sense of fun was contagious.

A graveside service will be held at Tucker Swamp Baptist Church at 4 PM Friday, July 22, 2016 with the Rev. James H. Hyatt, Jr. officiating. In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be made to the Fallen Lineman Charity, www.NSUJL.org.
