Courtland – Timothy Allen "Timmy" Drake, 57, passed away July 13, 2020 in Southampton Memorial Hospital.  A native of Sedley, he was a son of the late Andrew Thomas Drake and Rebecca Moss Drake.  He was also predeceased by a brother, Dennis Drake.

Timmy was a 1980 graduate of Southampton High School and a retired service advisor at Blake Ford.  He coached softball and enjoyed fishing on the river, drag racing, and visiting friends in his golf cart.  Timmy was a good mechanic and could fix anything with a motor.  He was a member of Grace Memorial United Methodist Church in Sedley.

Left to cherish his memory are his wife, Kaye Raiford Drake; his daughter, Haley Drake Holland (Ethan); his twin brother Jimmy Drake (Rachel); several nieces and nephews; and his grand dogs.

A Celebration Visitation will be held from 3 to 5 PM Friday, July 17, 2020 in Wright Funeral Home.  The family suggests memorial donations may be made to Courtland Volunteer Fire Department, 23067 Main Street, Courtland, VA 23837 or the National Multiple Sclerosis Society, P. O. Box 8127, Virginia Beach, VA 23450.
