Franklin – Thomas Lee Francis, 74, passed away June 16, 2018. Tommy was born in Hertford County, NC, a son of the late Frank and Gladys Francis. He was retired from James S. Green Contractors and was an Army Veteran. Tommy was a member of High Street Senior Citizens and was a Baptist.

Survivors include his wife Gayla of Elizabeth City, a sister Janie F. Ferguson (James), a brother William M. Francis all of Franklin, a niece Lynette F. Hill (Steve) and their children, Genna and Lexi of Haymarket, a nephew James Kevin Ferguson (Allison) and their children, Brooke and Connor of Midlothian, a nephew Jamie Worrell (Courtney) and their daughter Catherine of Drewryville.

A graveside funeral with Military Honors will be held at 11 AM Tuesday, June 19, 2018 at Southampton Memorial Park with James P. Councill, III officiating. The family will receive friends at the home of Janie and James Ferguson at 21005 Drake Rd., Franklin.
