Thomas Lewis Carr, 23, died March 5, 2008. A 2003 graduate of Southampton High School, Thomas was a correctional officer at the Southampton Correctional Center and worked part-time at Blake Auto Sales. He was a member of the New Apostolic Church.
Thomas is survived by his parents, Jim and Bertha Babb Carr. He was predeceased by his grandparents, Lewis and Virginia Babb, and Tom and Virgie Darden Estes.
The funeral will be conducted at 2 p.m. Sunday at Wright Funeral Home with the Rev. Christopher Reber officiating. Interment will follow in Riverside Cemetery. The family will receive friends Saturday (today) from 4 to 8 pm at the funeral home.
