Franklin – Theresa Beltrami Henderson, 62, passed away September 18, 2019 in Sentara Obici Hospital. Born in Norfolk and raised in Virginia Beach, she was a daughter of the late Ernest "Pops" Beltrami, Sr. and Mary Lavonne Sharkey Beltrami and was also pre-deceased by her son Eric Virgil Henderson. Theresa was a 1975 graduate of Kempsville High School and a graduate of LSU School of Nursing. She was a registered nurse in the ICU at Southampton Memorial Hospital for 17 years and in the ER at Sentara Obici Hospital for 12 years. She was also the office manager for Henderson Heat and Air. Theresa was a member of St. Jude Catholic Church.
Left to cherish her memory are her husband of 41 years Jimmy Dwain Henderson; two daughters Angela Henderson Cavuoto (Kevin) and Mary Henderson Austin (Christopher); four sisters Barbara Belanger (Richard) of Nashua, NH, Louisa Crabtree (Harold) of Obetz, OH, Laura Wagner (Joe) of Franklin, and Rita Jones Mitchell (Bobby) of Franklin; five brothers Ernie Beltrami, Jr. (Rita) of Franklin, Jimmy Beltrami (Joan) of Franklin, Robert Beltrami of Franklin, Mark Beltrami (Michelle) of Chesterfield, Joey Beltrami (Shannon) of Franklin; three grandchildren Christopher Austin and Nathan and Aiden Cavuoto; and her beloved German Shepherd "Hokie".
A Funeral Service will be held at 11 AM, September 21, 2019, in St. Jude Catholic Church with Father Charles Saglio officiating. Burial will follow in the Beltrami Family Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 6 to 8 PM Friday in Wright Funeral Home and suggests that memorial donations be made payable to Partners International Foundation to benefit the Eric V. Henderson Memorial Scholarship Fund, 6484 Burnt Mills Lane, Moseley, VA 23120.
