Boykins – Thelma Morgan "Bootsie" Francis , 69, passed away September 4, 2009 at Sentara Norfolk General Hospital. She was a native of Crewe, Va, and was a daughter of the late Nubel and Lucille Morgan. She was retired from Southampton Correctional Center.
Left to cherish her memory is her husband, of 37 years, Berkley M. Francis; her son, Brian M. Francis and his wife, Heather; and her beloved grandson, Tyler M. Francis.
The funeral will be held at 2 pm Monday in the chapel of Wright Funeral Home in Franklin, by the Rev. Chad Brady. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service at the funeral home and suggests that memorial donations be made to any favorite charity. www.wrightfuneralhome.org
