Courtland –Suzette Bunch Carpenito, 80, passed away with her family by her side in Sentara Virginia Beach Hospital on April 24, 2018. She was born in Portsmouth, VA to the late Thomas Waverly and Virginia Rickettes Bunch. She was predeceased by her husband Pat Luis Carpenito and daughter Kelly Carpenito Makoske. Suzette was secretary to the sheriff of Southampton County for 29 years and a faithful member of St. Luke's Episcopal Church.

Left to cherish her memory are her three daughters Lisa Carpenito (Todd Patriquin), Stacey Carpenito, and Toni Carpenito (Eric Fedowitz); a sister Gail Camp, and three grandchildren Kendall Belleville, Reed Fedowitz, and Dane Fedowitz; and nieces and nephews.
