Courtland – Suzanne Owens Lovett, 54, died December 20, 2008. She was born in Norfolk, the only child of David Bonner Owens, Jr. and Dorothy Story Owens, and was the widow of Gary Lovett.
Survivors include her uncle, John D. Owens, Sr. - California; cousins, John D. Owens, Jr. of Calif, Chris Owens, Candy Mitchell of Florida, Kathy Jacob and David Kruse of Massachusetts, and John Rupel of Virginia; and a friend, Kenneth Kruse.
A memorial service will be conducted at 3 pm Saturday, January 3, 2009, at Courtland Baptist Church with Rev. Thomas Speight officiating. Wright Funeral Home is assisting the family. www.wrightfuneralhome.org
