Franklin – Susan Worsham Vick, 76, passed away on May 9, 2022 in Southampton Memorial Hospital.  Born in Blairs, VA, she was a daughter of the late Orville A. and Virginia Dalton Worsham.  She was also predeceased by a sister, Helen Graybill and two brothers, Carl and Larry Worsham.

Susan was a 1964 graduate of Oak Hill Academy in Mouth of Wilson, VA and the owner of Bick Day Care Center.  She collected baskets, Coke memorabilia, Santa Clauses and enjoyed gardening.

Left to cherish her memory is her husband of 57 years, Jesse Alton "Sonny" Vick, Jr.; three sons, Douglas Wayne Vick of Suffolk, David Craig Vick (Michelle) of Gasburg, VA, and Brian Keith Vick (Kristene) of Shawboro, NC; five sisters, Brenda Cyrus (Donnie) of Rustburg, VA, Carolyn Cowart (Butch) of Rustburg, Debbie Carson of Appomatox, Ann Rexrode (Terry) of Lynchburg, and Kay Martin of Lynchburg; and four grandchildren, Brycen Vick, Blake Vick, Trenity Vick, and Thomas Kirk, Jr.

A Funeral Service will be held at 2PM Thursday, May 12, 2022 in Wright Funeral Home with Dr. Charles Qualls and Rev. Steve Gibson officiating.  Burial will follow in Poplar Spring Cemetery.  The family will receive friends from 6 to 8PM Wednesday in the funeral home and suggests that memorial donations be made to Oak Hill Academy, 2635 Oak Hill Road, Mouth of Wilson, VA  24363,
