Franklin- Susan Elaine Spruill, 61, passed away October 17, 2016 at Southampton Memorial Hospital. Susan was born in Suffolk and reared in Como, NC and was a graduate of Murfreesboro High School and Chowan University. She was a member of Sunbeam Baptist Church and a retired daycare center manager. She loved children.

Left to cherish her memory is her son, Tony L. "TJ" Savage , Jr., her mother Margaret Modlin Spruill, her sister, Gail Spruill Jones (George) and a niece, Jennifer Edwards.

A funeral will be conducted at 2PM Saturday October 22, 2016 at Wright Funeral Home with the Rev. Kenneth Williams and the Rev. Stephon Johnson. The burial will follow at Buckhorn Baptist Church in Como, NC.
