Franklin – Susan Moore lost her battle to cancer on Tuesday, September 8, 2009. A loving and devoted mother and wife, Susan enjoyed spending time with her family and friends, and took great pleasure in visits from her three grandchildren.
Left to cherish her memory is her husband of 35 years, Tim Moore; her daughter, Carrie Marie Johnson and her husband, Daniel "Bull"; her son, Tim Moore, Jr. all of Franklin; her mother, Virginia Brown Carrico; three sisters, Cynthia C. Doherty, Rowena Carrico, and Martha Phelps, all of Norfolk; two brothers, Peter Carrico and Joseph Carrico, both of Virginia Beach; her step-mother, Carolyn Carrico of Norfolk; and several nieces and nephews. Susan was predeceased by her father, Millard Morris Carrico.
The family will receive friends from 5 to 6:30 pm Friday, September 11, 2009 at Wright Funeral Home, and they ask that you take a moment out of your busy day to tell someone special you love them.
