Severn, NC – Susan Leigh Head Harris, 46, passed away May 14, 2011 at Pitt Memorial Hospital in Greenville, North Carolina. She was born in Decatur, Georgia, a daughter of the late Dan Olin and Edith Lewis Head. Susie was a teacher for eight years and a member of the Mennonite Church in Severn.
Left to cherish her memory is her daughter, Taylor Anne Harris of Smithfield, NC; her sister, Jodie Head Jones of Hendersonville, NC; and a very loving church family.
The funeral will be conducted at 10:30 am, Tuesday, May 17, 2011 with the Rev. Jesse Martin officiating. The family will receive friends from 7 to 8:30 pm Tuesday at the church. Wright Funeral Home is assisting the family.
