Stephen Hamilton Wright, 56, passed away unexpectedly Saturday, February 11, 2017 at his home. Stephen was born and reared in Franklin, the youngest son of the late James Combs "Jimmy" and Margaret Wilson "Peggy" Barnes Wright. He was a graduate of Franklin High School and worked in sales for Mike Duman Chevrolet. Stephen enjoyed playing and composing music. He was a Presbyterian.

Survivors include his brother James C. "Jim" Wright, Jr., and his wife, Lorelee, and their daughter, Catherine Anne, and her husband, Brandon Parrish; brother, William B. "Barky" Wright, and his wife, Kathy, and their daughter, Amanda , her husband, Colin Burns, and their son, Connor, and Jonathan W. "Jack" Wright, and a special friend, Sandy Turner.

A funeral will be held at 7 PM Tuesday at Wright Funeral Home with the Rev. Jim Hyatt officiating. The family will receive friends immediately following the service. Stephen will be laid to rest with his parents in Poplar Spring Cemetery. Burial will be private. The family requests that memorials be made to any favorite charity.
