Franklin – Stephen "Steve" Russo, 63, passed away Wednesday, July 29, 2020.  He was born in Syracuse, NY.   Following high school, he attended LeMoyne College and received his Master's Degree in Labor and Industrial Relations from Michigan State University.  He was retired from International Paper with 30 years of service and was currently Human Resources Manager at Georgia Pacific in Emporia.  Steve was a communicant of St. Mary's Church and 3 ^rd Degree member of Council #7363 Knights of Columbus.

He is survived by his wife of 36 years, Gail Holmes Russo; his daughters, Valerie and Julie Russo; his father, Salvatore Russo of Summerfield, FL; brothers, Ronald Russo of Marcellus, NY, and Christopher Russo of Baldwinsville, NY; and nephew, Chris Russo.

Steve is predeceased by his mother, Rose Marie Serio Russo.

Private services will be held Monday, August 3, 2020.  Burial will be in St. Joseph's Cemetery.  There are no calling hours.  Arrangements are by Wright Funeral Home.
