Windsor - Stephen Alan "Stevie" Rhodes, 52, a long time vegetable farmer, passed away August 8, 2011 at his residence. He was born in Suffolk and was predeceased by his father, Gurney Rhodes, Jr. Stevie was a member of Colosse Baptist Church and had been attending Outreach Worship Center in Windsor.
Left to cherish his memory are his mother, Rachel Joyner Rhodes; two sisters, Susan R. Cook and husband, Johnny, and Cindy Wells and husband, Buxton; two nieces; two nephews; and his beloved dog, Sue.
The funeral will be conducted at 2 pm Wednesday, August 10, 2011 at Wright Funeral Home, Franklin, with the Rev. Tim Webb and Rev. Ted Woosley officiating. Interment will follow at Colosse Cemetery. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service at the funeral home and other times at the home of Susan and Johnny Cook, 8015 Rhodes Drive, Windsor.
