Boykins- Stephen Dale Lee, 62, passed away peacefully April 30,2015 at his home. He was born in Portsmouth and was a lifelong resident of Boykins. Steve was preceded in death by his parents, Linwood Curtis Lee and Beatrice Drake Lee and three brothers, Jimmy , Robbie and Lin.

He was an active member of the Boykins Volunteer Fire Department for over 40 years and was retired from Franklin Equipment Company . He was a Baptist.

Left to cherish his memory are his two sons, Bryan Christopher Lee (Allison) of Huntersville, NC and Phillip Michael Lee (Kristan) of Durham, NC, his wife, Summer A. Lee, two grandsons, Nolan James Lee and Robert Curtis Lee and several sisters and brothers-in-law, nieces, nephews and treasured by a host of friends.

A graveside funeral will be held at 11 AM Tuesday May 5, 2015 at Beechwood Cemetery with the Rev. Raymond Bunn officiating. The family will receive friends Monday from 7 to 8:30 PM at the Boykins Chapel of Wright Funeral Home and suggests that memorial donations be made to the Boykins Volunteer Fire and Rescue Squad, P.O.
