Boykins – Stacy Lee Edwards, 40, passed away May 4, 2011 at MCV Hospital. She was born in Emporia and was predeceased by her father, Roy Taylor "R. T." Edwards, Jr. She was a graduate of Southampton High School and employed at Hardee's in Franklin for over ten years.
Left to cherish her memory is her mother, Joyce Spence Edwards of Boykins, two sisters, Bonnie Edwards of Boykins and Cheryl Davis (Bobby) of Murfreesboro, NC; three brothers, Taylor Edwards (Sandra) of Conway, NC, Brent Edwards (Tammy) of Franklin, and Kent Edwards (Lisa) of Wakefield; one niece, Katelyn Edwards; and three nephews, Mike, Brian and Robbie Edwards.
A graveside service will be conducted at 11 am Saturday, May 7, 2011 at Beechwood Cemetery with the Rev. Kenneth Williams officiating. The family will receive friends fro 7 to 8:30 pm Friday at the Boykins Chapel of Wright Funeral Home and suggests memorials be made to Boykins Volunteer Rescue Squad. The family gives a special "Thank You" to her close friend and caregiver, Kaye Whitehead.
