Franklin - Alan Duane "Skip" Bain, Jr., 75, passed away unexpectedly Tuesday, February 16, 2021 in St. Mark's Hospital in Salt Lake City, Utah.

Alan was born in Brooklyn, NY to the late Alan D. Bain, Sr. and Olga B. Simmons.  He was a proud Navy Veteran, retired police officer, assistant boy scout master, and elder in the Church of Jesus Christ Latter Day Saints. He loved his family, camping, playing bingo, and building Legos. He had built several military ships & was very proud to display them & share his story with others.

He was preceded in death by both of his parents, his wife of 34 years Patricia F. Bain & a brother.

Along with his wife Linda F. Bain of 19 years, Alan is survived by his children Tracy B. Morris (Buddy) of Winton, NC, Michele B. Robitaille (Lexi) of Veyo, UT, Alan D. Bain III (Keri) of Suffolk, VA, Will E. Bain (Stephanie) of Logan, UT, 4 sisters, 2 brothers, 8 granddaughters, 5 grandsons, 1 great granddaughter, and numerous nieces & nephews.

A Graveside Service will be held at 3 PM Saturday, February 27, 2021 in Southampton Memorial Park.  The family will receive friends from 6 to 7:30 PM on Friday in Wright Funeral Home in Franklin.
