Franklin – Shirley Ann Edwards Crum, 81, went to be with the Lord on June 21, 2009. She was born in Southampton County, a daughter of the late Bessie Gray and Livious Edwards, and was predeceased by her husband of 49 years, Roscoe "Rocky" Crum, Sr., one sister, and two brothers. Mrs. Crum was a member of Sycamore Baptist Church.
She is survived by her daughter, Christie McClintock; three sons, Rock, Jr., Raymond, and Wesley Crum; seven grandchildren; and four great-grandchildren.
The funeral will be held at 11:00 am Thursday at Wright Funeral Home with the Rev. Dr. Roger Crump officiating. Interment will follow in Poplar Spring Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 7 to 8:30 pm Wednesday at the funeral home. www.wrightfuneralhome.org
