Courtland- Shannah Raye Coleman, 64, died June 17, 2010. A native of Suffolk, she was a loving wife, homemaker and Sunday School teacher for Courtland Baptist Church.
Left to cherish her memory is her husband, Hugh J. Coleman; daughters, Robin E. Fuhrmann (John) and Melissa E. Henley (Darin); son, William Felton English; loving daughter of Peggy Outland Parker and Rev. Ray Hampton and his wife, Sarah; loving sister of Peggy D. Parker and Patricia Downey; stepson, Jeff Coleman; step-sisters, Becky Parker and Sharon Peelen; step-brother, Ronnie Turner; grandchildren, Johnathon, Jesse, Matthew, Christina, Rebekah, Alyssa, Trey and Trevor; great-grandchild, Chloe, and many other relatives and friends including her cat, "Tip".
The funeral will be conducted 3 pm Sunday at Wright Funeral Home with Drew Dunn officiating. Interment will follow in the Sunbury NC Cemetery. The family will receive friends today (Saturday) from 7 to 8 p.m. at the funeral home.
