Samuel Watkins Bulls

Commerce, GA – Samuel Watkins “Sammy” Bulls, 86, passed away August 17, 2026. Born and raised in Southampton County, VA, he was a son of the late Charlie Watkins Bulls and Pauline Powell Bulls and was also predeceased by his wife, Patricia Ann Sumrell Bulls; a brother, Charles Irvin Bulls; and a grandson, Levi Long Sr.

Sammy was a retired dental technician.

Left to cherish his memory are his sons, Michael Lynn Bulls (Chris) of Commerce and Stephen Eric Bulls (Leslie) of Temple, TX; sisters, Anne B. Gardner, Sandra B. Haynie, and Brenda B. Tolliver; grandchildren, Stephen Eric Bulls, Jr., Blake Mitchell Bulls, Shelbee Webb, Kaitlyn Webb, Sopinda Bulls Lavecchia, Siriporn Bulls Fernandez, Kimberly Bulls Robinson, Cody Faubion, Jamie Bulls, David Bulls, Jenessa Bulls, Devyn Bergeron, and Jacqueline Hunt; and multiple great-grandchildren. A Funeral Service will be held at 11AM Friday, August 21, 2026 in Wright Funeral, Franklin, VA with Pastor Richard Inman officiating. Burial will follow in Southampton Memorial Park. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service in the funeral home and suggests memorial donations be made to any favorite charity.
