Sarah A. "Sally" Patterson, 66, of Greensburg, Pa. died Monday, Nov. 20, 2017. She was born Feb 20, 1951, in New Kensington, Pa., daughter of the late Charles and Jean Nickless Gass.

Sally was a graduate of Penn State University and a longtime member of the PSU Alumni Association. She was an elementary school teacher for 5 years in the Franklin City school system, prior to being involved in a life changing automobile accident. She had been a member of the Grace Lutheran Church here in Franklin.

In addition to her parents, she was predeceased by her husband, Virgil O. Patterson and her sister, Mary Jo Lloyd.

She is survived by her brother in law, Robert Lloyd of Greensburg, Pa., three stepdaughters, Annette Matt of Pulaski, Ruth Edsall of Sedley and Mary Vick (Steven) of Courtland, two stepsons, John Patterson (Sara) of Traverse City, MI and Frank Patterson (Sharon) of Sedley.
