Holland – Anna Ruth Ellis Wood, 82, passed away November 21, 2017 at Autumn Care of Suffolk. Ruth was born in Franklin, NC and was a daughter of the late Bryant Ellis and Louise Sutton Ellis and was also predeceased by a sister Sue Boykins and a brother Herman B. Ellis. She was a member of Holland Baptist Church.

Left to cherish her memory is her husband of 55 years Donald Lee Wood, a daughter Gwenn Cross of Conway, NC, two sons, Dennis Harrup of Isle of Wight and Kevin Bryant Wood of Virginia Beach, a sister Linda Vann and a brother Gerald Ellis both of Murfreesboro, NC, seven grandchildren, Marsha, Tracey, Corrine, Brian, Shawn, Caitlin and Kevin, Jr. and eight great grandchildren, C.J., William, Ravn, Kiara, Ariana, Dante, Brendon and Odin.

A memorial service will be held at 2 PM Saturday, November 25, 2017 at Holland Baptist Church with the Rev. Matthew Johnson officiating. www.wrightfuneralhome.org
