Chesapeake- Rubie Bradshaw Ehlman, 74, passed away Thursday, July 9, 2015 at her home. She was the daughter of the late Robert Reginald Bradshaw and Sarah Gay Bradshaw and was also predeceased by her brother, R. L. "Bud" Bradshaw. She was a native of Black Creek in Southampton County.

She was a Registered Nurse having worked at Maryview Hospital, Southampton Memorial Hospital and Leigh Memorial Hospital and was the owner of Home Care Services in Suffolk.

Left to cherish her memory is her husband, Robert S. Ehlman, a daughter, Amber E. Didio (Matthew), a son, Anthony E. Ehlman, a granddaughter Marley E. Didio, a sister, Elizabeth B. Perry and three brothers, Edward, Samuel and M. Dale Bradshaw.

A funeral will be held at 3 PM Tuesday, July 14, 2015 at Wright Funeral Home, Franklin. Burial will follow at Rosemont Cemetery, Sedley. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service at the funeral home. www.wrightfuneralhome.org
