Courtland, VA- Roy Head, 75, passed away August 2, 2013. He was born in Big Vein, VA in Tazewell County, a son of the late Luther Daniel and Elizabeth Goodman Head. He was predeceased also by his wife, Beulah and thtee sisters, Phyllis Collins, Carolyn Kaelin and Betty Head.
Survivors include two sisters, Margaret Nichols and Rita Robinette; five brothers, including his twin, Coy, Ronald, Richard, Wayne and Barry Head. The funeral will be held at 2 pm Tuesday, August 6, at Wright Funeral Home with the Rev. Jim Hyatt officiating. Interment will follow at Southampton Memorial Park. www.wrightfuneralhome.org
