Boykins – Roy Taylor "R. T." Edwards, Jr., 74, died March 26, 2009. He was born in Seaboard, NC, the only child of Roy Taylor and Rennie Grizzard Edwards. R. T. was a retired farmer and a member of Branchville Baptist Church.
Survivors include his wife of 56 years, Joyce Spence Edwards; three daughters, Bonnie Edwards and Stacy Edwards, both of Boykins, Cheryl Davis and husband, Bobby, of Murfreesboro, NC; three sons, Taylor Edwards and wife, Sandra, of Conway, NC, Brent Edwards and wife, Tammy, of Franklin, Kent Edwards and wife, Lisa, of Wakefield; and four grandchildren, Clayton, Bryan, Katelyn, and Robbie Edwards.
A graveside service will be conducted at 2 PM Sunday at Beechwood Cemetery with the Rev. Kenneth Williams officiating. The family will receive friends from 7 to 8:30 pm Saturday at Wright Funeral Home, Boykins Chapel and suggests memorials be made to Boykins Fire Department, P. O.
