Capron – Roy Otis Cook, 71, passed away June 4, 2024 in Courtland Healthcare and Rehabilitation.  Born in Westfield, MA, he was a son of the late Roscoe Dean Cook, Sr. and Winifred Ayers Cook.  He was also predeceased by a sister, Linda Piper, and two brothers, Roscoe Dean Cook, Jr. and Bill Cook.

Roy was a graduate of Frederick Military Academy and was the owner of Colonial Reliable Services.

Left to cherish his memory is his wife of 50 years, Anita Gurganus Cook, a daughter Alexa Cook Barksdale and her husband John, cousins, and nieces and nephews.

A Memorial Service will be held at 11AM Monday, June 10, 2024 in Wright Funeral Home with Rev. Jim Hyatt officiating.  The family suggests that memorial donations be made to your favorite charity.
