Wakefield – Fannie Rose Bailey Holt, 80, widow of John Andrew Holt, Jr., died December 24, 2007. She was born in Sussex County, a daughter of the late Howell James and Hazel Branch Bailey. Mrs. Holt was predeceased by a son, John Andrew Holt, III. She retired as a nurse's aide from Louise Obici Hospital and was a lifelong member of Wakefield United Methodist Church.
Left to cherish her memory are two daughters, Deane Holt Moore and husband, Billy, of Ivor, Tammie Holt Cahoon and husband, Tom, of Wakefield; five grandchildren, Earl Holland Edwards, Jr. and wife Kristi, David Andrew Edwards and wife, Theresa, Heather Lynn Holt, Ruth Elizabeth Koerber, Shannon Holt Coble and husband, Justin; five great-grandchildren, Dylan Christopher Edwards, Holt Avery Edwards, Cohen Michael Edwards, Destiny Lee Rose Holt, and Cameron Andrew Coble.
A private graveside service will be conducted at 11 am Wednesday at Wakefield Cemetery. Wright Funeral Home is assisting the family. www.wrightfuneralhome.org
