Franklin – Rose Man Ferki, 81, passed away September 24, 2009 at Southampton Memorial Hospital. She was born in Wilkes-Barre, PA and was a daughter of the late Francis and Justina Man. Mrs. Ferki was a former resident of Murfreesboro, NC.
Survivors include her husband of 59 years, Joseph M. Ferki; two daughters, Diane Sly (Joe) of Chandler, AZ and Regina Small of McDavid, FL; four sons, R. Bruce Ferki (Sherry) of Portsmouth, VA, Brian M. Ferki (Julia) and their children, Zofia and Eliot of Charlottesville, VA; Joseph J. Ferki (Norma) of Franklin, VA and Francis M. Ferki of Palmyra, VA. Mrs. Ferki was predeceased by a son, Michael A Ferki.
The funeral will be held at 11 am Monday, September 28, 2009 at Wright Funeral Home with Father Charles Saglio officiating. The family will receive friends from 7 to 8:30 pm Sunday at the funeral home. Memorials may be made to the American Cancer Society.
