Courtland – Ronald Gene Gentilini, 82, passed away March 6, 2024 in VCU Medical Center.  Born in Roanoke, he was the son of the late John Samuel Gentilini and Edith Young Gentilini.  He was also predeceased by a daughter, Gina Williams.

Ronald was an Army Veteran.  He was a retired welder with Naval Air Rework Facility (NARF) and part of the Tiger Team.

Left to cherish his memory is his wife of 53 years, Marie Taylor Gentilini; two daughters, Stephanie Unser (Joe) and Cynthia Terrill; two sons, Brian Gene Gentilini (Val) and Michael Vincent Terrill (Karen); twelve grandchildren; and twenty great grandchildren.

A Graveside Service with Military Honors will be held at 3PM Friday, March 15, 2024 in Peninsula Memorial Park in Newport News with Pastor Denise Wise officiating.  A Celebration of Life will be held at 1PM Saturday, March 16 in Kingdom Impact Church with Pastor Matt Kidd officiating.  In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to Kingdom Impact Church, 26151 Delaware Rd., Franklin, VA 23851.
