Franklin – Robert Allen "Bob" Holland, 77, passed away October 9, 2021 in his home after a long illness.  Born February 4, 1944, he grew up in the Colosse area of Isle of Wight County and was the son of the late John Raby Holland and Gracie Saunders Holland.

Bob was a 1962 graduate of Windsor High School and a retired paper maker with Union Camp Corporation/International Paper with 43 years of service on No. 3 paper machine.  He was a member of Franklin Congregational Christian Church.

Left to cherish his memory is his wife of 46 years, Elaine Ricks Holland; two daughters, Valerie H. Revelle (Keith) and Jennifer Marie Holland; two sons, Rodney A. Holland (Jen) and Robert V. Holland; four grandchildren, Taylor Revelle (Melinda), Megan Revelle (Tim), Triston Holland, and Justin Holland; and one great grandchild, Kade Revelle.  He was also predeceased by his beloved dog, Toby.

A Funeral Service will be held at 2PM Monday, October 11, 2021 in Wright Funeral Home with Rev. James H. Hyatt, Jr. officiating.  Burial will follow in Colosse Baptist Church Cemetery.  The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service in the funeral home and suggests that memorial donations be made to Franklin Christian Church or CHKD.
