Franklin – Robert Lee Gray, 76, passed away July 15, 2018 in his home. Robert was a native of Nansemond County and was the son of the late William Hugh Gray and Annie Mary Lewis Gray.

Robert was a member of Holy Neck Christian Church and had worked for 24 years at Farmers Hardware Store in Holland. He had retired from the Suffolk ABC Store after 25 years of service.

Left to cherish his memory are his sisters Mary Gray Ray of Suffolk and Betty Jean Gray of Franklin; a nephew Les Griggs of Richmond; three nieces Faye Stafford, Cindy Barbour (Chuck) both of Suffolk and Linda Hight (Eric) of Aberdeen, MS; three great nieces; two great great nieces; one great great nephew; and a host of other family and friends.

A graveside funeral will be held at 11 AM Saturday, July 21, 2018 at the Holland Cemetery at the corner of Kelly Dr. and South Quay Rd. Rev. Dr. Dave Meadors and Robert Lewis will officiate. www.wrightfuneralhome.org
